The Village is built in a pleasant environment and is a short walk to a nearby shopping centre. A city bus service has a bus stop a short walk from the Village or the Committee operate a door to door bus service for tenants wanting to visit Port Curtis Place - Senior Citizen Centre.
The Committees aim is to create an ideal village atmosphere for all the tenants.

Social Housing
Unit 1 to 32 - 7 x 1 Bedroom and 25 x 2 Bedroom
These units are owned by the Department of Housing and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing.
Application is made via the Committees application form above and applicants also need to have an approved and current social housing application to be considered.
Eligibility -
Be over 55 years
Do not own your own home
Have an approved Department application
Selection Criteria -
Referrals are forwarded from the Department of Housing to the Committee.
The selection is on a needs basis with the priority given to homeless or people in emergency accommodation.

Private Rentals
Units 33 to 62 - 9 x 1 Bedroom and 21 x 2 Bedroom
The units are owned and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing.
Application is made via the Committees application form above.
Eligibility -
Be over 55 years
Selection Criteria -
On availability all applications are advised and complete an expression of interest, which is returned to the Committee.
The 'Housing Selection Panel' will consider all applications.
Dot Horn Place - Woodman Way
Private Rentals
Units 63 to 98 Woodman Way, Telina - 13 x 1 Bedroom / 7 x 2 Bedroom / 16 x 2 Bedroom Townhouse
The units are owned and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing.
