Our Village has spacious, architecturally designed units with facilities of the highest standard and offers an affordable independent living lifestyle for the over 50's.


The Village is built in a pleasant environment and is a short walk to a nearby shopping centre. A city bus service has a bus stop a short walk from the Village or the Committee operate a door to door bus service for tenants wanting to visit Port Curtis Place - Senior Citizen Centre.


The Committees aim is to create an ideal village atmosphere for all the tenants.

One Housing System


Unit 1 to 32 - 7 x 1 Bedroom and 25 x 2 Bedroom


These units are owned and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing. Application is made via the Department of Housing and Homelessness, and must meet the Departments criteria.


Eligibility -

Be over 55 years

Do not own your own home

Have an approved Department application


Selection Criteria -

Referrals are forwarded from the Department to the Committee 'Housing Selection Panel'.


The selection is on a needs basis with the priority given to homeless or people in emergency accommodation.

Private Rentals


Units 33 to 62 - 9 x 1 Bedroom and 21 x 2 Bedroom


The units are owned and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing.


Application is made via the Committees application form below.


Eligibility -

Be over 50 years


Selection Criteria -

On availability all applications are advised and complete an expression of interest, which is returned to the Committee.

The 'Housing Selection Panel' will consider all applications.

Units 63 to 98 Woodman Way, Telina - 13 x 1 Bedroom / 7 x 2 Bedroom / 16 x 2 Bedroom Townhouse


The units are owned and managed by Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing.


Application is made via the Committees application form below.
